What is Creative Education?
Creative Education is a specialist part-time Alternative Provision designed to support young people who may benefit from a smaller educational setting.
We provide a structured, supportive learning environment for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, with a focus on helping young people re-engage with education, build confidence and develop positive learning habits.
As a part-time Alternative Provision, Creative Education does not provide full-time education, we operate from Monday-Thursday 9:15am-12:30pm providing a structured curriculum that focusses on core academic subjects such as:
English Language
English Literature
Mathematics
Science
Vocational Learning Opportunities
Responsibility for arranging and overseeing the remainder of a child's education outside of the hours provided by Creative Education remains with the parent or carer. Families may choose to access additional educational opportunities, activities or support services independently to complement the provision offered by CE.
Is Creative Education for me?
Each placement is carefully considered to ensure that Creative Education is able to meet the young person's needs within the resources, staffing and support available. Unfortunately, there may be occasions where we are unable to offer a placement if we believe another provision would be better placed to meet a student's needs.
Our provision offers a personalised approach to learning within a small-group environment and therefore places are limited. We work closely with students, parents and referring professionals to provide educational support that meets the needs of the young people we are able to accommodate.
Our priority is to provide a safe, nurturing and positive learning environment where young people can develop academically, socially and emotionally whilst accessing a personalised educational experience.
Please see our contact page for more information on how to apply.
